ARTIST RESIDENCY :: FEBRUARY -  MARCH 2019
CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS

In continuing efforts to foster and develop arts in the Tampa Bay area, non-profit Tempus Projects proudly announces its February 2019 artist residency program. Utilizing a second-floor apartment directly above the Tempus Main Gallery and Project Space, this visiting artist residency allows for a collaborative exchange between the Tampa Bay arts community and visiting artists from across the country and beyond.

FACILITIES & SERVICES: Selected artists will be given one-month residence in a fully furnished live/work two-bedroom apartment located directly above the Tempus Main Gallery and Project Space. The apartment sleeps six and provides ample room for the production of two-dimensional works. Wood tools and additional works space are located downstairs in a multipurpose space. Any additional facility needs should be outlined in the proposal.

Artists will be responsible for providing their own transportation to and from Tampa as well as during their stay.

STIPENDS & OTHER SUPPORT: Selected artists will receive a $1,000.00 stipend to supplement the living and working expenses during their stay.

Following their month in residence, artists will have the opportunity to install a one-month solo exhibition hosted by Tempus Projects. Tempus will fund this exhibition, including an opening reception with the artist.

Return shipping of artworks following the close of the exhibition will be paid by artist.
